VLAN Mode:
This additional feature gives the switch extra security for the users connected to it. The VLAN mode works as Port isolation, meaning that when it’s enabled the users connected to the LAN ports cannot communicate with each other but only communicate with the UP-Link ports (port 7/8). This way there is an extra layer of security and data will not be shared between the users. This can be used in a small office to separated guests from the company network or in a home to separate tenants.
QoS Priority (Port 1~8):
QoS is supported for data priority, this can be helpful for a IPCAM or high priority preferred device.
Extend Mode (Port 17~24):
The switch’s Extend-mode feature allows data to be transmitted over a longer distance, up to 250Meter, using an RJ-45 cable. However, please note, the speed will drop to 10Mbps for port 17~24 when setting in “Extend Mode”. The Uplink Ports 25/26 still delivers Gigabit speed.
