The AirLive Multi-Giga switch, Live-2TX1602, supports 16 RJ45 and 2 SFP+ ports for delivering up to 2.5Gbps extra high-speed connection on RJ-45 and 10G SFP+ on fiber optic. With the 2.5G multi-Giga switch, you can connect to a variety of 2.5GbE-enabled devices, such as NAS | NVR | PC | Server | Laptop, for enjoying faster experience and handle bandwidth-hungry applications. Moreover, it provides additional and useful functions such as VLAN Security that you can set easily by its DIP switch. Designed in a slim sized solid housing, it’s an affordable, space-saving solution suitable to Home and SMB network applications. 

Higher bandwidth improves the playback quality of 4K/8K videos, prevents lag for Gaming, smooths speed when download or upload large data, increases data transfer speed. Even, when doing backup to a NAS drive or Core switches, use the SPF+ Fiber port as uplink to a larger network at 10Gbps extreme high speed.

Port Isolation/VLAN Mode: Enhance Security
This additional feature gives the switch extra security for the users connected to it. The VLAN mode works as Port isolation, meaning that when it’s enabled the users connected to the LAN ports cannot communicate with each other but only communicate with the UP-Link ports (port 15~18). This way there is an extra layer of security and data will not be shared between the users. This can be used in a small office to separated guests from the company network or in a home to separate tenants.
